Read This Over Your Child
Speak these words aloud over your child today — in their presence or in prayer.
My precious one, before you were born — before I even knew you were coming — God already knew you. He knew your name. He knew your face. He knew the way you laugh and the things that make you feel safe and the things that are hard for you.
He did not just know about you. He knew you. He loved you. And He set you apart.
Set apart means chosen. It means special. It means there is something about you that is different from everyone else, and God planned it that way. Your life has a purpose that no one else's life has. Your story matters in ways we may not fully understand yet.
You were not an afterthought. You were a first thought. God thought of you before the world began.
I am so honoured to be your mum. And I want you to know: God chose you. He chose me to be your mum. And that is one of the greatest gifts of my life.
Today's Prayer Over Your Child
Father, I declare over my child today that You knew them before they were formed. You set them apart. You chose them. Whatever the world says about their limitations, whatever the reports say, whatever the hard days feel like — You have a purpose for this child that is bigger than any diagnosis, any challenge, any difficulty. Let that purpose unfold in its own time, in its own beautiful way. And let my child feel, even now, that they are known and chosen by You. Amen.

Your child is a child of God. That is their most important identity. And nothing — no diagnosis, no difficulty, no hard day — can ever take that away.
