"His mercies are new every morning." — Lamentations 3:23

Today's Scripture

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

— Matthew 11:28

Today's Devotional

Rest. When was the last time you truly rested? Not just slept — but rested in your spirit, in the deep place where the worry lives. The special needs journey is one of the most demanding roads a mother can walk. The vigilance never fully turns off. But Jesus does not say 'manage your stress' or 'practice self-care.' He says come. Come as you are, burdened and weary, and He will give you rest. Not as the world gives — but a rest that restores your soul.

Today's Prayer

Jesus, I come to You. I am tired in ways I cannot fully explain. I lay down the worry, the to-do lists, the fear for tomorrow. Give me the rest that only You can give — the kind that reaches the places sleep cannot. Amen.

Today's Affirmation

"My child is seen, known, and loved by God."

Speak this over yourself today

From Sarah's Journey

Sarah used to feel guilty resting. Then she realized: a depleted mother cannot pour from an empty vessel. Rest became her act of love for her child.
